As responsible members of our community, Car Toys and Wireless Advocates will extend the same level of care and concern that we show our customers, to our local communities through volunteerism and workplace giving.
Not only are we customer obsessed, we are also obsessed about giving back. Through One Community, we offer our employees two paid days a year to participate in company sponsored volunteer events. These events, organized by the company, allow our employees time to make a hands on difference in the community. Our work ranges from setting up and working at a mobile food bank, taking over the kitchen for a day at an organization serving the homeless in our community, to participating in the largest volunteer day in our area by joining the United Way Day of Caring.
We also participate in an annual workplace giving campaign, where employees have the opportunity to make contributions, through payroll deductions to support local organizations. These best of class organizations in our community include United Way of King County, Food Lifeline and Treehouse. In the past 10 years, our enterprise contribution has been just over $1.6M!
And our employees’ generosity doesn’t stop there, during the holiday season you can find us holding a competitive food drive and fulfilling a child’s dream through our giving tree.
